About Mid America Music Festival

Welcome to Mid-America Music Festival — North Central Missouri's very own country bluegrass rock and blues music festival and soon to be Grundy County's biggest celebration.

2017 is our inaugural year and we really are excited to already be attracting fans not just from Grundy County and the immediate surrounding areas, but from Arkansas to Iowa and Kansas to Tennessee. Everyone's from the heart of the heartland is invited to come on out and park an RV or pitch a tent and settle in for an unforgettable weekend of fun in sun with us this summer!

MAMF will undoubtedly grow each year into an event worthy of its namesake "Mid-America," attracting some of the biggest and best artists in the country. For our first year though we wanted to start out exclusively Missouri, with only a couple of surrounding area based artists. We felt it important to establish ourselves within the community and region where we live before we get too big for our own britches. We love the heartland and we want to host an event that our family, friends and local residents can not only be proud of, but also take some ownership in.

Corporate interests are already knocking at our doors for involvement, but our business model is simple: plant the seeds, let them take root, and grow slowly and strongly with our community's interests in mind. We didn't want to come in too hot sourcing everything from outside--like so many major festivals do these days--and put on such a large scale event that we'd have had to sell tickets for hundreds of dollars to cover the overhead. Our first year belongs to Mid-america, to Missouri, to Grundy County, to Trenton!

The 40-acre rolling hills estate of Black Silo Winery and Vineyards provides the lazy "country sophisticated" backdrop for the first annual MAMF just outside beautiful downtown Trenton, MO. We are putting together a first-class show with state of the art lighting, sound and staging, art installations and much more. Between the headliners on the Vineyard Stage, our Barn stage will feature local musicians from all around the area. And the Winery Stage will have singer song writer performances all afternoon and a DJ in the evening.

Great festivals are more than great music. MAMF is a big community celebration of music with Americana-themed attractions, camping and tail-gating under the stars with thousands of other like-minded free spirits, a variety of culinary delights served up by a small army of award-winning food trucks from around the state and an array of libations in our lush beer garden setting--from Missouri's very own Budweiser for our beer drinkers to a wide selection of wine from Trenton's very own Black Silo, with a variety of top shelf spirits thrown in to cover every palate's taste.

MAMF is a collaboration between Eleven Thirteen Sixty-Nine and Black Silo Winery, two companies that represent the dreams of two individual brothers, David and Duane. David grew up in Arkansas and Duane, of course, right here in Trenton, Missouri. It's been a long time coming, but this past December during a holiday catch up call they agreed it was finally the right time to make their vision of creating an annual music festival that would be the foremost of its kind in the region a reality. The vision became a reality. We look forward to seeing you in July!
